Diversity, Equity, and Anti-Racism Literacy (DEAL) Book Club
DEAL is a collaboration between the Office of the Corporate Controller and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The goal of DEAL is to empower employees in their respective positions to create equitable and meaningful change for themselves, students, families, and the broader community through the use of ongoing discussion and reflection. This goal is in alignment with the Office of the Corporate Controller and Finance and Business's strategic plans to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion.
On a quarterly basis, a recommended reading will be shared with Finance and Business staff. A moderated forum/discussion on the reading will be held with assistance from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for Finance and Business. Participants will be provided with discussion questions in advance.
The group typically meets every other week during the lunch hour (12:00 to 1:00 PM). Please contact Emory McKenna for more information.
